We work with Danish seasonal ingredients, organic produce and less food waste — always with a focus on flavour, presence and quality.
Our kitchen is locally rooted but inspired by the world around us. Here Thy meets Nordic ingredients, artistic expression and international impulses.

Centralen is part of a truly special place. We share the old merchant's house with SMK Thy – the National Gallery of Denmark's exhibition venue in Thy – where art, nature and people meet. That makes a visit here more than a meal. It is a chance to experience the area with all your senses, whether the day begins with an exhibition or ends around the table. We hope you will let the two experiences enrich one another.
Passion and craft
A good meal begins long before it reaches the plate. It begins with the people who work the soil, tend the animals, harvest, fish, brew and refine the ingredients we use every day. That is why we have chosen to work with producers who share our view of quality, care and good craftsmanship.
For us, being locally rooted is not a goal in itself but a way to create honest meals with a clear origin and respect for the season. Every supplier brings their own story, and together they are an important part of the experience we want to give our guests.
